Who is Sarah Lesselbaum?
The Art of Hebrew Illumination
Nourished from childhood by an artistic family environment, Sarah Lesselbaum has always found in drawing and painting a way to express her sensitivity.
After studying graphic design and illustration, she explored watercolor and refined her artistic vision, gradually moving towards Jewish themes that resonated deeply within her.
His passion for illuminated Hebrew manuscripts becomes evident.
Eager to master the ancestral techniques, she trained in traditional illumination at the Musée de l'Imprimerie in Lyon, under the direction of an artist initiated into ancient knowledge by monks who held the secrets of this meticulous art.
Sarah Lesselbaum chose to dedicate her talent to the embellishment of biblical and contemporary texts, working in collaboration with soferim (scribes) and adapting illumination to sacred calligraphy to combine tradition and modernity.
In 2001, she founded the Minesara workshop with Franck Benayoun, an artistic space where writing and image intertwine in the light of Judaism.

Emounart: A Broad Artistic Vision

Years later, Sarah gave a new dimension to her work by creating Emounart, a platform which centralized her different activities:
-

-
Announcements: Elegant and personalized creations to celebrate unique moments.
-
Children's songs: A musical universe that transmits the values of Judaism through poetry and melody.
-
Other artistic creations: A global approach where illustration and spirituality meet.
Through Emounart, Sarah Lesselbaum continues to transmit a visual and cultural heritage, combining the excellence of tradition with the richness of contemporary creation.
